The worlds #1 fashion magazine Elle is this month spotlighting ElektronistaMag in an article about the rising trend of women who love technology and gadgets. Elle describes the Elektronista phenomenon and the three different technology user types-Elektronista, Elektro-neutral and Elektro-not originally identified by ElektronistaMag in partnership with danish trend agency But-Why.
“Today many women are as interested in mobile phones, lap tops, flatscreens and cars as men. According to many surveys women account for more than 85% of the decision making when consumer electronics is being bought for the household. On the top of that a lot of women live alone, they are dominating the universities and well on their way to many top leadership positions, so why on earth they are not being taken more seriously by consumer electronic companies is beyond my understanding” says ElektronistaMag Executive Editor Christiane Vejloe to Elle in the three page long article.
